Dr. Cam Ma

Dr Cam Ma

University of Waterloo 1990

Dr. Ma began her post-secondary education at the University of Ottawa where she completed her Bachelor of Science. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry in 1990 from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science. She is fully certified in ocular therapeutics for the treatment and co-management of eye diseases.

Dr. Ma is passionate about promoting good habits and lifestyle choices to reduce eyestrain and to prevent ocular diseases. She takes pride in providing caring individual attention to each patient.

Away from the office, she can be found enjoying Ottawa’s numerous golf courses rain or shine. She also loves gardening and pottery.

Dr. Daniel Bédard

Dr Daniel Bédard

University of Waterloo 1989

Dr. Daniel Bédard graduated with honours in 1989 with both a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and an Optometry degree (O.D) from the University of Waterloo. He has his therapeutic drug accreditation from Northeastern State University, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Dr. Bédard embraces new technology and advanced diagnostic equipment. He is truly passionate about offering superior eye care to his patients, from precise refractive analysis to leading digital imaging for eye health assessment. He enjoys practising in French and English.

Dr. Bédard was an examiner for the Optometry Examining Board of Canada. He is an active member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO), Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO), and the Ottawa Society of Optometrists (OSO).

Born and raised on a farm in Northern Ontario, he still retains a keen interest in tractors and farm machinery.

Dr. Daniel Bédard

Dr Anthony Sforza

University of Waterloo 2019

Dr. Anthony Sforza graduated from the University of Waterloo where he received his Honours Bachelor of Science as well as his Doctor of Optometry degree. He has also completed an externship in Miami, Florida gaining invaluable experience managing various ocular diseases.

Dr. Sforza provides a wide range of optometric services including glasses, contact lenses, family and pediatric eye care, emergency vision services as well as management of eye disease such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, ocular infections and dry eye disease. He also provides post-op care for cataracts and laser vision correction. Dr.Sforza also has a special interest in binocular vision and works to provide his patients with the ability to achieve both clear and comfortable vision.

Outside of the office, Dr. Sforza enjoys a very active lifestyle and is always interested in finding new places to hike or explore.

Dr. Hue Hoang

Dr Hue Hoang

University of California 2011

Dr. Hue Hoang earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011, where she was a member of the honors society. She completed clinical rotations in primary care and ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Fresno, California and at multiple community health clinics in Oakland, California. She has also participated in an eye care mission trip to Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua.

Originally from California, Dr. Hoang lived in BC for several years before moving to Ontario. She is proud to call Ottawa her home and she is excited to share her passion for eye care with patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include myopia control, dry eyes, contact lenses, and ocular disease.

In her spare time, Dr. Hoang enjoys travelling, yoga, and spending time with her husband and two young children.

Dr Camille Bedard

Dr Camille Bedard

New England College of Optomety 2022

Dr. Camille Bédard graduated from the University of Ottawa with her BSc in Sciences Biomédicales in 2018. She then moved to Boston where she completed her doctorate of Optometry in 2022 at the New England College of Optometry. During her time at the New England College of Optometry, Dr. Bédard completed rotations at a Community Health Centre in Boston, a hospital in Alaska and a Veteran Affairs Hospital in Vermont. She gained experience in primary care, pre- and post-operative care for refractive surgery, glaucoma care, pediatric optometry and more. She was involved in the Canadian Association of Optometry Students and Beta Sigma Kappa Honours club.

Dr. Bédard offers comprehensive eye examinations in both French and English.

In her free time, Dr. Bédard enjoys pottery and playing ultimate frisbee and spending time with her cat, Maurice.
